Failed rainbow cake

SOOOO CUTEEEE I CAN'T EVEN ..........

So, we tried making a rainbow cake for W's twenty first birthday last week,
which, as seen, failed quite badly(apppearance).
However in taste wise, it was actually pretty good. To me at least.
We met up again that same week and made her another rainbow cake. In a jar :
