Do note that this is not a professional skin care regime. This is just a post to share with you guys how my daily facial skin care routine is like.
I am using Body shop's vitamin E range products as part of my daily skin care regime. First, start off with the facial wash, then exfoliator, toner and lastly, moisturizer.
Because I have skin that is slightly to the dryer side, the vitamin E range products would be the most excellent choice out of the other products that I had used previously as vitamin E has been tested and shown to work well externally to correct dry skin while most other vitamins do not have much of a noticeable effect.
Vitamin E gentle facial wash - Gentle facial wash that lathers to remove dirt and make up, leaving skin feeling clean and soft.
I have been using this for quite some time already and I must say, I pretty like this product. It cleans well to remove any makeup and also, it is gentle enough for the skin and doesn't give me any breakout at all so far.
(This is when my macro lens will come into good use)
Vitamin E cream exfoliator - Gentle facial scrub to exfoliate the skin without irritating the skin. Use only once or twice weekly.
A very good scrub that is reasonably priced in my opinion. I like how small the beads are together with the vitamin E cream, providing very gentle exfoliation that is not too abrasive and harsh to the skin. I can only say, it is better than the previous exfoliator that I had used.
Vitamin E hydrating toner - A hydrating toner that removes traces of cleanser, make up and dirt without drying the skin.
Very hydrating(as seen from the product's package) and i love the fact that this toner is alcohol free. It also does a good basic job in removing the dirt leftovers and prepares the skin to absorb benefits of the moisturizer.
Vitamin E SPF 15 moisture lotion - Daily weapon against sun-damage.
I use this in the morning after i clean and tone my face as a base, before putting any make up on. The cream is absorbed quite quickly into the skin just after a few pats and does not leave the skin feeling oily or greasy. It acts as both a face moisturizer and sun screen(which to me, is a must need) for me and with SPF, it just can't go wrong. I do not have a proper moisturizer though, but will be getting one pretty soon!
Will go on about masks and my night time skin care regime next!
